Welcome

Oceanic Ghost Research (OGR) is the culmination of a group of people not only interested in capturing alleged paranormal occurances such as ghosts, spirits, haunting and poltergeist activity, but furthermore tries to take steps to understand the cause and possible mechanisms underlying such activity.

We are a non-profit orginisation.

Although we believe that a high percentage of perceived paranormal activity can be explained as natural, physical or psychological in origin, Oceanic Ghost Research is not here to prove that ghosts exist, but team members remain openminded to all possibilities, may it result in a 'natural' or a 'potential paranormal' conclusion.

Team Location: We are based in Melbourne, Australia

Territory Covered: Primarily Melbourne and the state of Victoria, however OGR is open to conduct interstate investigations
should they be requested.

Report Anomolous activity
OGR is an association which relies on private reports and welcomes first hand accounts of 'anomolous activity'. We will offer to perform an investigation at no expense to the owner.

All information of our investigations will be kept confidential unless permission is granted to publish results on our website.

To report an unusual event please send us an email

Investigations
EM SpectrumFor upcoming investigations please check the website regularly in the Whats New section.

Actual Reports of Investigations are kept in a restricted access folder - If you would like to access the reports, just send us an email requesting access. In the spirit of science other paranormal research organizations are welcome to view our reports.

General details of our investigation are shown in the Past Investigations - Section. (Unfortunatley this webpage is currently under construction)

Live Streaming Video
Check out the streaming video footage in the What's New section; brought to you by our affiliate group Ghost Research International (GRI). During scheduled investigations in Internet accessible regions, investigations will be broadcast live. In between investigations, 24 hour streaming video of past investigations is supplied.

Interested in Becoming a Team Member at OGR?
Oceanic Ghost Research is open to contact from interested individuals that may wish to become a member of our Group. Although we do not wish to have a high number of members within our group on investigations and like to keep it limited for control purposes, we would be interested in hearing from anyone who may think they have something to offer the group and be benificail to both parties, if you are interested we would require the following information at the very least.

We believe that our group members should be a mixture of both male and female, as this will benefit the group in terms of outcome.

1. Your Age and Experience in the paranormal research field.
2. A description of what skills you may have to offer the group. Eg Technical capabilities.
3. Your location.
4. Any equipment that you have that may be used on investigations.

If we think you may be benificail to the group we would invite you on our next investigation and both parties can decided if there is potential to become a permanent member of the group.

Furthermore we would like to hear from any individuals who would be interested in helping the group in carrying out research in the history of buildings and also potential locations. Please Contact us if this is of interest.
